Convergence 27 (3): 696-710. https://doi.org/10.1177/1354856521991956.About this Journal Article: During the pandemic, we offered a course on ‘placemaking,’ helping students look at their surrounding through new lenses and critical reflection. I have unpublished case studies from the class but I think this article speaks to the goals of placemaking and what we tried to do to help students learn while in their respective locations.
