"Neurodiversity – The Key that Unlocked My World." TED Talk Tedx Talks, Gothenburg, Sweden, February 9, 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qvvrme5WIwA.About this Presentation:Elizabeth Wiklander first talks about the term neurodiversity and how it has helped pull the stigma surrounding autism and other cognitive divergence in people. Then she talks about her life and the difficulties she has faced due to these ideas and stigmas that have surrounded her. She talked about how she reshaped herself to better understand the social norms in society. Then she talks about how it made her feel like something wasn’t quite right, when she finally told social media that she was neurodivergent she was met with kindness and helping hands. She finishes her speech with autism is not something that needs to be cured but the stigmas and prejudice that surround it. Recommended by Emma Smith.
