This month we’re taking a look back at some of the Center for Engaged Learning’s most watched videos in 2014 and pairing them with some you might have missed.
Created for ISSOTL Online 2013 for the Studying and Designing for Transfer strand, the What is Transfer? video had over 200 views in 2014, demonstrating a continuing interest in transfer of learning. The video features Randy Bass (Vice Provost for Education, Georgetown University), Ketevan Kupatadze (Lecturer of Spanish, Elon University), Kathleen Blake Yancey (Kellogg Professor of English and Distinguished Research Professor, Florida State University), Donna Qualley (Professor of English and Director of Composition, Western Washington University), and Jessie L. Moore (Associate Professor of English and Associate Director of the Center for Engaged Learning, Elon University ).

You may have missed two other videos on transfer. In one, Randy Bass (Associate Provost and Executive Director of Center for New Designs in Learning & Scholarship, Georgetown University) offers strategies for faculty new to studying transfer:

In the other, Linda Adler-Kassner, Chris Anson, Randy Bass, Rebecca Nowacek, Liane Robertson, and Kathleen Blake Yancey discuss future directions for studying – more specifically – writing transfer:

Check back next week for another video pairing, and view all the Center’s videos on our YouTube channel..
