Join us online before the conference at Elon!

Critical Transitions Online, hosted by the Center for Engaged Learning at Elon University, provides an opportunity to connect with other writing studies scholars before you travel to the Critical Transitions: Writing and the Question of Transfer conference in Elon, North Carolina. Critical Transitions Online focuses on Studying and Designing for Critical Transitions: Writing and the Question of Transfer. This free online seminar begins June 3, 2013, and continues through June 22, 2013.

Studying and Designing for Critical Transitions: Writing and the Question of Transfer introduces transfer theories, investigates current transfer research in writing studies, and explores future directions in transfer research and its implications for curriculum design. Although highlighting transfer research in writing studies, this topic crosses disciplinary boundaries and draws from recent multi-institutional research initiatives on transfer.
