Limed: Teaching with a Twist is a podcast that plays with pedagogy. Each episode features the voices and ideas of diverse faculty, staff, and students who workshop our guest’s real challenges and opportunities for their classrooms. The show is produced in collaboration with the Center for Engaged Learning at Elon University and was created and developed by Matt Wittstein, an Associate Professor of Exercise Science. New episodes release on the third Monday of every month.

Matt Wittstein – Creator and developer

Matt Wittstein is an Associate Professor of Exercise Science at Elon University and a live-in faculty member for one of the university’s residential neighborhoods (The Oaks and Park Place Neighborhood). His scholarly and professional interests include music and movement; inclusive and equitable teaching in STEM; mentoring undergraduate research; and learning and student development beyond the classroom. As an avid podcast listener, Matt is excited and hopeful that Limed: Teaching with a Twist will open up thoughtful conversation about our teaching practices and connect educators with people and resources to keep their classrooms fun, energized, and full of deep learning.

Dhvani Toprani – Producer

Dhvani Toprani is Assistant Director of Learning Design and Support at Elon University with a PhD in Learning, Design, and Technology. She believes in technology’s ability to transform teaching and learning if we learn to effectively collaborate with and around it. Her research focuses on integrating technology in learning environments to promote collaboration, design thinking, and other higher-order thinking skills. Her work at Elon University focuses on building digital fluency among university’s faculty and staff to support the design of technology enabled learning environments.
