As we write in April 2020, we are only beginning to see some of the implications of COVID-19 for students, faculty, staff, and colleges and universities. The pandemic surely will inflict serious personal, professional, and institutional damage, changing the academy for years to come. However, the pandemic also forcefully underscores that relationships are the beating heart of higher education and that learning and well-being are intimately, inseparably connected. No matter the future, let us challenge ourselves to make relationship-rich education a reality for all of our students. Share:
