She previously served as president of the POD Network in Higher Education and has led educational development programs for faculty, graduate teaching assistants, postdoctoral fellows, and students at Caltech, Curry College, and Harvard University. With a BA in physics and PhD in atmospheric chemistry, she has taught courses in science, pedagogy, college writing, and sustainability. Cassandra enjoys speaking, writing, and collaborating on educational development and institutional change, along with her mindful movement practice and occasional craft projects. Martin Springborgmartin.springborg@gmail.comMartin Springborg is the founding director of a center for teaching and learning that provides programs and services for faculty at Inver Hills Community College and Dakota County Technical College, aligned colleges in the Minnesota State system. He began his teaching career at Inver Hills Community College, where he taught photography and art history. Martin’s writing and photographs about teaching and learning in higher education have appeared in the journals Thought and Action (2013) and To Improve the Academy (2012). He is also a co-author of the book Meaningful Grading: A Guide for Faculty in the Arts (2018). Share:
