Collaborative Projects and Assignments as HIPs – A Recap

A recent eight-part series for the 60-Second SoTL podcast explored collaborative projects and assignments as a high-impact practice (HIP). The series, recorded by Elon University’s Master of Arts in Higher Education (MHE) students Stephen Gyan, Marie-Clare Ofoegbu, and Haley Turczynski, explored:

  • what makes collaborative projects and assignments a HIP,
  • examples of collaborative projects and assignments,
  • embedded and emerging questions about collaborative projects and assignments,
  • assessment of this HIP,
  • a model program, and
  • the impact of this HIP on student learning.
